On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, an exchange program between Aizuwakamatsu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Businesswomen's Club and the University of Aizu was held. This program was started by Businesswomen's Club of the University of Aizu at the time of the opening of the University of Aizu to deepen the understanding of professors and their wives from all over the world and Japan about Aizu.

 This time, Professor SAITO Hiroshi, Head of the Computer Engineering Division, gave a lecture on "Research and Demonstration of Wild Animal Alert Systems " *1. And HASHIMOTO Shihomi, President & CEO, and SUKEGAWA Takuya, COO, of the University of Aizu venture company Branchism Inc. gave a lecture on how they started their business and "Splant "*2, an event-type meeting application for students.

Professor Saito talked about his research using AI and deep learning to solve local problems and issues, and further research and development efforts. Hashimoto-san of Blanchism Inc. talked about her life as a student, which was greatly influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic, the development of the app, and how she came to start her own business. During the Q&A session, participants asked a variety of questions and exchanged opinions, and the event ended on a high note.
