On April 11, 2021, three international students and three junior college students participated in the "Aizu Kimono Walk" experience.
This event was planned by the Cultural Foundation for Promoting the National Costume of Japan in Aizu-Wakamatsu, and other organizations in
the city to let students, who usually have few opportunities to touch kimono, try on Aizu cotton kimonos and learn about its charms.

On the day of the event, students wearing colorful kimonos enjoyed spring in Aizu in their own way at Tsurugajo Castle, where cherry blossoms were in full bloom.

This experience was a great opportunity to learn about the culture and history of Aizu through interaction with the local people.
