The International Talk was held at the Global Lounge on Feb. 3rd by Mr. Peter Kudry (Graduate, Slovakia). Twenty-eight participants including Japanese and international students, faculty and administrative staff members joined this event.

Mr. Kudry was born in Slovakia, then moved to Denmark, and came to Japan in 2019. He introduced the history of Slovakia, Slovak language, tourist spots, and culture. There are many castles and hot springs in Slovakia. Nitra castle was built on the hill and very old castle in Slovakia. There are also attractive mountains where you can skiing and tracking, and very beautiful caves. He introduced a various type of traditional clothes and foods such as bacon, spicy sausage and hard bread.

His International Talk was very interesting, and we are getting more interested in Slovakia. We had a wonderful time and a good cross-cultural understanding.
