The University of Aizu and University of South Carolina, U.S.A, have agreed to cooperate in the area of education and research in the field of Computer Science and Engineering in order to strengthen ties between both institutions and promote academic and cultural interchange. The agreement will enable student exchanges between the two institutions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. It will also foster collaborative research among faculty of the respective institutions.

  • Effective date for the Agreement of Cooperation: January 1, 2007
  • Effective date for the Memorandum for Academic and Cultural Interchange: February 1, 2007

The University of South Carolina is located in Columbia, South Carolina, and was founded in 1801. It is one of the oldest universities in the United States and has a rich history.
