Program Overview

The Global 3+2 Program Application under the Global 3+2 Program Agreement is intended for students from partner universities who have completed at least three years of undergraduate study and will enroll in the Graduate School of the University of Aizu for a minimum of two years to pursue a master's degree solely at the University of Aizu.

Application Procedures

Steps for Students

  • Prepare all required application documents as specified by the program.
  • Confirm completeness of all documents using the Checklists for Students.
  • Submit the prepared documents to the designated office at the partner university. Student submissions directly to the University of Aizu are not accepted.

Steps for Partner Universities

  • Review all candidate documents submitted by students, and confirm completeness of all documents using the Checklists for Partner University.
  • Compile each candidate's documents into one single file for online submission.
  • Submit the complete application file via the University of Aizu online system by the electronic deadline.
  • Send hard-copy application materials by post to the Student Recruiting Section by the hard-copy deadline.

  • Checklists for Students and Partner University - please ensure all documents are complete and confirm using the checklist before submission

Application Deadlines

Electronic Submission Deadline: Friday, February 13, 2026 (via the online system)
Hard-Copy Submission Deadline: Friday, March 13, 2026 (Hard-copy application materials must be sent by post to the Student Recruiting Section.)

Notes

  • Applications must be submitted by the partner university; student submissions will not be accepted.
  • This online application system is used to review required documents submitted by the designated office at the partner university. As the application procedure follows that of regular degree-seeking students, hard-copy application materials are also required. This is because of the preliminary review for the Global 3+2 Program.
