Program Overview

The Dual Degree Program, offered under the Dual Degree Program Agreement, is designed for students from partner universities who have completed at least one year of graduate-level study at their home institution. Participants will earn a master's degree from the University of Aizu and a second degree from their home institution according to the prescribed procedures.

Steps for Students

  1. Download all required information from the Graduate Admissions Master's Program page .

  2. Prepare all required application documents as specified by the application guideline and checklist.
  3. Confirm completeness of all documents using the Checklists for Students, and submit them to the international office at the home institution.

Steps for Partner Universities

  1. Review all candidate documents submitted by students and confirm completeness using the Checklists for Partner Universities.
  2. Compile all documents for each candidate into a single file for online submission.
  3. Submit the complete application file via the University of Aizu online system by the electronic deadline.
  4. Send hard-copy application materials by post to the Student Recruiting Section by the hard-copy deadline.

Important Notes

  • The password to access the checklist file will be sent via email.
  • Use the checklists to ensure all documents are complete before submission.
  • DDP deadlines are earlier than standard deadlines. Confirm the deadline indicated in the checklist.
