The "Welcome Party" was held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 for new students of the UoA to gather and meet the staff members and other students. It took place at the Cafeteria. There was a total of 70 participants including faculty and staff members, and international/Japanese students.

This year, Ms. GOONETILLEKE Kumudri Chavika (4th year undergraduate student), an international student from Sri Lanka, and Ms. Sato Chihiro (3rd year undergraduate student), a Japanese student, took the role of the MC for the event.

At the beginning of the party, Prof. LE Doan Hoang (SAISUA President) and Prof. SAXENA Deepika gave their welcome remarks. Then, new international students from various countries, including Vietnam, India and Laos, introduced themselves to everyone. The participants intermingled and enjoyed the party and its wonderful food together.

The event provided a good opportunity for both international and Japanese students to communicate with each other.
