1. The Buddy Program
This program allows our students to help international students--especially newcomers--by providing support in Japanese and interpreting in English, mainly to help them adjust to life in Japan.
2. Main Responsibilities

Supporting dorm move-in and apartment searches

Accompanying students to City Hall or the post office for official procedures

Assisting with water, gas, electricity, and mobile phone services

Joining orientation programs and international exchange events

Participating in Global Lounge activities (e.g., EEE-Chat, JJJ-Chat, International Talks)

Helping with everyday needs like shopping for essentials

Supporting Japanese conversation practice and providing daily life advice
Note: Specialized support, such as interpreting during apartment contracts, is handled by university staff.

- Compensation: 1,100 yen per hour

Eligibility: Undergraduate or graduate students who enjoy communication, with either: Above conversational-level English (for Japanese students), or Highly fluent Japanese skills (for international students)
