Eligibility for Use
Students and faculty members of the University of Aizu and its Junior College Division, and others with permission from the Director of the Information Systems and Technology Center of the University of Aizu are eligible to use the University Library. Persons from outside the university should always check-in at the counter.
Opening Hours
- Weekdays 9:00-20:00 (9:00-17:00)
- Saturdays 9:00-17:00
- Sundays during examination periods 9:00-17:00
Hours in brackets () indicate opening hours during the Spring, Summer and Winter holidays.
Holidays
Sundays(Except examination periods), Saturdays during the vacation periods, public holidays and the New Years holiday period. As the library may be close when regarded necessary, please check by telephone, etc. prior to your visit.
Entrance
When entering the University Library, please pass through the entrance gate. Your faculty/staff/student ID, or user ID is required to pass through the gate.Persons from outside the university need to check-in at the counter when entering the University Library.
Exit
When leaving the library, please pass through the exit gate. Your faculty/staff/student ID, or user ID is required to pass through the gate. Please be aware that if you attempt to leave the library with books for which loan procedures have not been taken, the buzzer will sound.

Cautions for Use
- Silence should be maintained at all times.
- Eating and Smoking is forbidden.
- Except for the Entrance Hall of the First Floor, drinking is forbidden.
- Use of cellular phones is prohibited.
