The University-Business Innovation Center (UBIC) was awarded the 69th Kahoku Culture Award for its many years of contribution to industry in the Aizu region, Fukushima and Tohoku.
The presentation ceremony was held on Friday, January 17, 2020 in Sendai. At the ceremony, UBIC Director IWASE Jiro, and Professor ISHIBASHI Shiro, the Deputy Director, received an award certificate, a plaque and an extra prize from Mr. ICHIRIKI Masahiko, the Chairperson of the Board of Executives the Kahoku Culture Foundation, and the President of Kahoku Shimpo Publishing Corporation.
