Aizu University ranked 18th in "The World University Ranking Japan Edition 2022"

On Thursday, March 24, 2022, The UoA was ranked in 18th of "THE Japan World University Rankings 2022" (※) published by the British educational journal "Times Higher Education.
In this ranking, they evaluate the universities with 16 items in 4 fields; Resources, Engagement, Outcome, Environment.
The UoA was 2nd in the ranking of the public universities.
The evaluation in THE Japan World University Rankings emphasizes "Teaching" in consideration of the mission of the Japanese universities compared to the evaluation in THE World University Rankings which emphasizes "Research".

I am delighted that our university has been ranked in the top rankings of the Japanese edition of the World University Rankings for the Sixth consecutive year.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your support and the achievements of our faculty, staff, students, and graduates that have earned our university this high ranking.
At present, due to the effects of the new coronavirus infection, it is still very difficult to conduct international education and research activities, but we will overcome this situation by taking advantage of the characteristics of a university specializing in ICT, and make further efforts to return the research results to the reconstruction and creation of our prefecture.
