The SLIM (Smart Lander for Investigating Moon) project completed a soft landing on the Moon on Saturday, January 20, 2024. JAXA commended our faculty and a student for their contributions.
 Profs. Ohtake and Honda, in the Division of Information Systems, concurrent with ARC-Space, contributed to the multiband camera's development, operation, and data analysis. Mr. Ibuka, a second-year student in the Master's Course at the University of Aizu, contributed to developing the analysis tools.
