On Thursday, July 16, the International Affairs Section held its regular "International Talk" event as part of the Global Lounge activities.

This session featured Mr. ONUOHA Chibuike Martins, a Ph.D. student from Nigeria, and the MC was Mr. MUNASINGHE Tenshi, an undergraduate ICTG student. During the event, he gave a presentation in English about his home country, Nigeria.

The presentation introduced various aspects of Nigeria, including its diverse ethnic cultures, traditions, and cuisine. Colorful slides and videos showcasing traditional martial arts and ethnic dance gave participants a vivid glimpse into the country's rich cultural heritage. Participants also learned that Japanese industrial products are widely used in Nigeria, an interesting fact that highlighted the close connections between the two countries. Overall, the presentation provided a valuable opportunity to deepen participants' understanding of an African nation geographically distant from Japan.

During the Q&A session, participants asked questions about Nigerian films, Nollywood, and other aspects of the country's culture, leading to lively discussions between the audience and the speaker. The event offered participants a meaningful opportunity to gain a closer appreciation of Nigeria and its people.
