On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, Okuma Town and the University of Aizu Public University Corporation signed a comprehensive partnership agreement.
The agreement aims to promote industrial, academic, and educational advancement, foster human resources development, and contribute to the reconstruction and revitalization of Okuma Town through mutual collaboration.
The details of the collaboration are as follows.
(1)Promote collaboration between industry, academia, and government to achieve reconstruction and revitalization.
(2) Concerning the creation of an educational environment that allows children and adults to continue learning.
(3)Concerning the development of human resources and community building that support the future of the region.
(4)Other matters that are recognized as necessary for mutual collaboration and cooperation.
