On July 2nd, a discussion between students and the president was held at the on-campus community space, Kiyare.
Our university provides opportunities for students to talk with the president about the overall learning environment from the learner's perspective (such as the maintenance and improvement of the learning environment).
Students raised many topics, such as ‟ Improving classes using generative AI ", ‟ Developing a learning environment to ensure the quality of education ", ‟ I would like to refer to the careers of my seniors before choosing a lab ", ‟ Advice for graduate students ", and ‟ Proposals to revitalize collaboration with local companies and hold technology events ", and all participants exchanged opinions.
In some cases, upperclassmen gave advice to help realize the ideas of lowerclassmen, and the event was also a useful opportunity for knowledge transfer between the participating students.
Our university will continue to work on value co-creation for better education through dialogue with students.
