ヒーローバナー.pngThe 9th Robotics Symposium of the University of Aizu

The Robotics Symposium of the University of Aizu (UoA) will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024. The event will be jointly held by the University of Aizu and the Fukushima Innovation Coast Promotion Organization based on the collaborative agreement between two organizations.

FY2023 is the final year of Stage III (FY2021 - FY2023) of the Industry-academia Collaborative Robot Research and Development Support Project, which the UoA has been working on as a project supported by Fukushima Prefecture from FY2015.

The 9th Symposium, which concludes the Stage III of the project, will show the results of research and development of robotics technology during the period. This includes the Cloud Robotics Technology (a system that helps effective robot development and improves robots' performance through the networking of multiple robot systems), as well as Dual Space Robotics (concept which integrates real and virtual space), being developed with companies mainly in Fukushima Prefecture since FY2021,

The Symposium will be held using two venues, the University of Aizu "Laboratory for leading-edge ICT (LICTiA)" and the Fukushima Robot Test Field (RTF) in Minamisoma City, connected over internet.

Both venues are open to public with advanced registration. We look forward to your participation.
