Aizu Cotton Interior Decoration Workshop Held

The community space is currently being renovated as part of the University's 30th anniversary projects. On Friday, September 28, 2023, under the guidance of local volunteers, a group of students and faculty primarily comprised of members of the UoA Promoters created interior decorations for the community space.
The decorations they made were panels comprised of wooden frames wrapped in Aizu cotton and secured with staples and L-shaped brackets. Despite the simple construction, it took three and a half hours to complete the work. Aizu cotton was used to give the interior a feel of Aizu.
The panels will be placed on the walls and bookshelves in the community space after the renovations are completed.
