This academic year, The Society of Instrument and Control Engineers(SICE)(※1) has established a new award for students, SICE Excellent Student Award. The Award is given to students who made a significant contribution to the fields related to SICE. In the University of AIZU, Mr.Ayato Ohashi, supervised by Professor Keitaro Naruse,(※2) won the Award. On March 22, 2022, Vice President Zhao presented the Certificate of merit to Mr.Ohashi. Mr.Ohashi's graduation thesis title is "Investigation of Pose Estimation Accuracy of Cylinder Based on Point Clouds."
