A research paper(※1) principally authored by Senior Associate Professor LU Guo-wei(※2), the Data Network Laboratory, the University of Aizu was published in Spring Nature's(※3) Nature Communications(※4) on Monday, August 24, 2020.
The paper described the fabrication and demonstration of a silicon-polymer hybrid modulator which is capable of effectively addressing the energy consumption issue in next-generation optical communication.
It was also selected by Nature Electronics (※5) as Research Highlights (※6).
