On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the University of Aizu Joint Research Forum 2025 was held at the University Auditorium. The event was jointly organized by Center for Advanced Information Science and Technology (CAIST), AI Center, and Center for Space Informatics (ARC-Space). Now in its fifth year, the forum was conducted under the theme "Transformations in Work and Society Brought About by AI Agents - The Role of Universities and Industry in the Age of Human-AI Collaboration -."
Part 1: Keynote Speeches and Panel Discussion
Three leading experts in the field delivered keynote speeches on topics such as industrial transformation driven by Agentic AI and Physical AI, advances in intelligent systems integrating robotics and AI, the latest global trends in generative AI research, and practical applications in industry.
During the panel discussion, participants talked about topics such as how AI will shape future work styles and the collaboration between universities and industry.

Research centers and clusters (research team) presented their recent activities and outcomes in fields such as data science, security, neuromorphic AI, image recognition, space information science, and more.

Many researchers and students from inside and outside the university, as well as participants from industry, local governments, and the general public, attended the forum.
Active discussions were held on the impact of AI agent technologies on society and work, and on initiatives in education, research, and industry to promote human-AI collaboration. The event served as a meaningful opportunity for knowledge exchange across diverse fields.
