On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, the Degree Conferment Ceremony of Autumn AY2023 was held. 35 individuals, including 23 from the Computer Science and Engineering Master's Program, 5 from the Doctoral Program, and 7 from the Undergraduate School of Computer Science and Engineering received degrees.

At the conferment ceremony, Interim president vice president ZHAO Qiang-Fu used his address to encourage the newly-minted graduates, stating " Since its founding, the University of Aizu has accepted students from Japan and around the world and produced computer scientists who can succeed in international academia and engineers highly skilled in information and communications technology. In some sense, you are now experts in ICT, and I believe that with the knowledge learned here at the University of Aizu, you can play important roles in solving various practical problems by joining a project team or an organization. Please remember that no one is perfect and no one can survive without help from others. Please do not forget to say "thanks" to those who helped you, and if possible, please try to help others when you are needed. "

For student commendation, Ms. PALLA Likhitha, who graduated completed the master's program, was awarded the President's Award and a supplementary prize.

Ms. PALLA Likhitha, representing those who completed the respective programs expressed her gratitude and future plans in her address, stating " Personally, enrolling in this university has offered me an exceptional platform for my research and a multitude of opportunities. Lastly, bidding farewell to this place, where we were nurtured with care, is hard. Although we part our ways, let us carry forward the lessons we've learned here, for a better future by the aspiration to "advance knowledge for humanity"
