Overseas Study Internship Programs

On-site Training Has Resumed ! AY2022 Silicon Valley Internship

For the first time in three years, we sent four students for on-site training. Over 18 days from February 21 to March 10, the students developed an AI car using Jetson Nano at Hacker Dojo and other coworking spaces, and engaged in technical exchanges with local engineers.

From March 6 to 17, three students worked in teams with students from Dalian Neusoft University of Information to develop an app and develop a marketing strategy for the service.

ICT Global All-English Program

In AY2023, the ICTG Program accepted 33 students through general selection and two through April advanced standing admissions.

◆Computer Science Camp for Hong Kong High School Students

16 students and two teachers from the University of Aizu's partner secondary school, The ELCHK Yuen Long Lutheran Secondary School (YLLSS), visited the University of Aizu to experience a class on the C language.

Fukushima Future Creation ActivitiesCarried Out

On February 20, 2023, a total of 35 Japanese and international students and faculty members from the University of Aizu and Futaba Mirai Gakuen High School visited the Great East Japan Earthquake and Nuclear Disaster Memorial Museum and Fukushima Robot Test Field.

Innovation & Start-up Education Program (ISEP)

Two ISEP Participants Started Their Own Business in March 2023

ISHIKAWA Tatsuya and HASHIMOTO Ryoma, students who both participated in ISEP, establish inf. inc. with the support they received from the Regional Venture Creation Support Foundation.

Second ISEP Certificate of Completion Issued

An ISEP Certificate of Completion was awarded to YASUI Banri (then B4) on February 7, 2023.

AY2022 ICT Start-Up Trial Program Conducted

The ICT Start-Up Trial Program was conducted over 10 days from February 17 to March 3.

Cutting-Edge Technology Tour Conducted

On March 20, 2023, a cutting-edge technology tour was held at the Iwaki Plant of Alps Alpine co., ltd., where 16 students listened to an explanation of the company's overseas business developments, including its development in China, and toured the plant.
