The University of Aizu was ranked for the THE Asia University Rankings 2024 (※1) published by the British educational journal on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
The university was ranked 201-250th in Asia and 17th the Japanese universities that were ranked.

"THE Asian University Rankings 2024" uses the same data as "THE World University Rankings 2024"(※2) with some changes in the weight of indicators.
Since the weight of the index differs from the world ranking, the relative ranking also differs from the world ranking.

I am delighted to announce that our university has been ranked at the top of THE Asian University Rankings for the seventh year in a row, up from last year.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those involved in this project including many of you and the achievements accumulated by faculty members, students and graduates.

We will continue to return the results of our research to the reconstruction and revitalization of Fukushima Prefecture, and make further efforts to produce talents who will be active in the world.
