From Wednesday, July 8 to Friday, July 10, 2026, ten American high school students participating in the Japan Society's "Junior Fellow Leadership Program"(※1) visited our university. The visit included a cultural exchange with our students and a series of special lectures delivered by university faculty members.

On the first day, members of the university's international exchange circle, "Hello World," (※2) hosted a calligraphy experience. This cultural activity helped the American students and our students connect naturally. The exchange continued in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere as our students assisted the visitors with a questionnaire for their project.

Over the three days, four faculty members provided special lectures in their respective fields. The American students participated actively, sharing opinions and asking insightful questions. After the lectures, they engaged in lively discussion in English with students from the faculty members' laboratories.
