International Talk: “Let’s Learn About Kazakhstan!” Held

On Wednesday, May 27, the International Affairs Section held its regular "International Talk" event as part of the Global Lounge activities.

This session featured Timur Jaganov, a graduate student, as the guest speaker, while Towako Sano, an undergraduate student, served as the MC. During the event, Timur gave a presentation in English about his home country, Kazakhstan.

In his presentation, participants learned about Kazakhstan's vast natural landscapes, rich culture, traditions, and local cuisine. The audience listened attentively while watching colorful slides and videos featuring traditional music and magnificent natural scenery. Participants were also interested to learn that Kazakhstan and the Aizu region share certain geographical and climatic similarities.

The event provided a valuable opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of a Central Asian country far from Japan.
