The University of Aizu Swim Team Achieves Excellent Results in Competition

The University of Aizu Swim Team delivered an outstanding performance at the "18th Northern Japan Intercollegiate Swimming Championships / 40th Northern National and Public University Swimming Championships" held in Akita Prefecture on June 28-29. Nearly all participating team members broke their personal records.
In particular, second-year student SAWAI Yugo placed 7th in the 100m breaststroke, earning a spot in the All-Japan Inter-University Championships for National and Public Universities, to be held in Kochi Prefecture from Wednesday, August 6 to Friday, August 8. This marks the third consecutive year that the University of Aizu Swimming Club has qualified for the national championships.
