This year, Aizu-Wakamatsu City celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Gender Equality City Declaration. As part of this commemorative event, our university's gender equality initiatives were introduced in a panel exhibition (location: Aizu-Wakamatsu City Cultural Center).

―― The city's "Gender Equality City Declaration 25th Anniversary Commemorative Project," scheduled for February 9, was canceled due to heavy snow. The panel exhibition was held on a smaller scale (February 12-14). There were about 100 visitors during the event.

The city was the first in the prefecture to declare itself a "gender equality city" in February 2000. In order to further promote " Everyone works on this occasion with the citizens, regardless of gender, and fully demonstrate their individuality and abilities. I want to make it a town that can be demonstrated," we are working to strengthen our collaboration with local companies and universities.

Based on the spirit of gender equality, our university will also work to deepen mutual cooperation with local governments and create an environment in which everyone can learn and work comfortably.
