International Talk: Learn about traditional Japanese music!
On Wednesday 6 November, an International Talk will take place (open only to students, faculty, and staff of the University of Aizu).
This time, conventional Japanese instrumentalists will be invited from outside to give you a rare opportunity to experience how familiar pieces of music can be expressed through traditional Japanese instruments. Come and enjoy authentic Japanese music. The koto, Sangen, and Shakuhachi are wonderful instruments at the heart of Japan's musical heritage. In this mini-concert, you can learn about their history and unique playing techniques, and experience live performances by skilled musicians.
