International Talk "Let's Learn About Turkey!" Held!
On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the Global Lounge hosted an international talk via Zoom and in-person. Twenty-four students and faculty members attended the event.
Undergraduate students SAT Gokay Kagatay and MIKAMI Kayra served as speakers, sharing insights into their home towns of Ankara and Istanbul. Graduate student TAKUTO Odaira acted as the event's MC.
The speakers covered Turkey's geography, culture, cuisine, and personal experiences. The engaging presentations captivated the audience, making the time fly by.
Due to time constraints, the Q&A session was brief, but participants enjoyed a lively discussion about the cultural differences between Turkish and Japanese food and many other topics.
