University of Aizu faculty members won the age-specific skiing skill competition hosted by the Ski Association of Fukushima.

　Kazusa Oki Associate Professor (*1) of the University of Aizu Center for Cultural Research and Studies (affiliated with the Dake onsen Ski Club) won the women's 3 events in the 35-44 age class at the Ski Association of Fukushima Skiing Skills Championships(*2) organized by Ski Association of Fukushima held on March 3, 2024, at Sannokura ski resort (Kitakata City).

In addition, Associate Professor Oki passed the Ski Association of Japan (SAJ) (*3) certified ski instructor examination (8 practical tests and theory test) held in February at the Amihari Onsen ski resort (Iwate Prefecture).
