International talk "Let’s learn about Taiwan online!" was held!

On Wednesday, July 26, 2023, International Talk took place via Zoom as an activity of Global Lounge. Thirty-three people, including students and faculty members, joined the event.
Ms. YANG Wan-I, a graduate student from the Chaoyang University of Technology which is one of our partner universities, was featured as a speaker. She introduced her country "Taiwan" in English! Ms. HAYASHI Juri, an undergraduate student acted as the MC for the event.
The presentation was an excellent overview of Taiwan, including its geography, history, language, recommended places, food, and her life in Taiwan and Aizu. The great thing about the explanation is the beautiful pictures. She kept the audience interested by showing many pictures and making the presentation convincing and meaningful. After hearing her talk, many of the participants would have been interested in Taiwan and wanted to visit.
The Q&A session was limited due to time constraints, but it was interesting to learn about the cultural difference between Taiwan and Japan.
The next International Talk will be held in October via Zoom. Don't miss it!
