The 8th the University of Aizu Robot Symposium was held on Friday, June 9, 2023, in collaboration with the Fukushima Innovation Coast Organization.

This year, the symposium connected the University of Aizu Advanced ICT Laboratory "LICTiA" and the Fukushima Robot Test Field to hold a hybrid of online and in-person sessions to present the research results of the fiscal year 2022.

This was the first time for the University of Aizu and the Fukushima Robot Test Field to hold the symposium in two locations, and the first collaborative event based on the partnership agreement signed between the University of Aizu and the Fukushima Innovation Coast promotion Organization in March of this year.

Slide presentations of each project were followed by explanations of demonstration videos. Despite the inclement weather, about 100 people attended the event, including those at LICTiA, Fukushima Robot Test Field, and Zoom participants, and a lively exchange between industry and academia took place.
