On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the University of Aizu and the Fukushima Innovation Coast Promotion Organization signed the collaborative agreement with the aim of contributing to the promotion of the Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework and the reconstruction and revitalization of Fukushima Prefecture by mutually collaborating and cooperating with each other and utilizing their knowledge and networks.
The details of the collaboration are as follows.
(1) Matters related to industrial promotion for the promotion of the concept and vision.
(2) Matters related to the development of human resources who will be contributing to the implementation of the concept and vision.
(3) Matters related to the expansion of the exchange population and information dissemination for the promotion of the concept and vision.
(4) Other matters deemed necessary for mutual coordination and cooperation.
The ceremony was attended by Tamotsu Saito, President, Yasuo Ito, Assistant President, Mitsuaki Toda, Executive Director, Kazuya Ashida, Director General, and Kenji Kokubun Deputy Director General from Fukushima Innovation Coast Promotion Organization, and Toshiaki Miyazaki, President, Jiro Iwase, Regent, and Toshihiko Abe, Regent and Director General from the University of Aizu.
