International Talk“Let’s learn about Sri Lanka” was held!

On Wednesday, December 14th, 2022, International Talk took place online as an activity of Global Lounge. Twenty-three people, including students and faculty members, participated in the activity.
Ms. Harshani Cooray, an undergraduate student, was featured as a speaker. She introduced her country "Sri Lanka" in English! Ms. Angelita Gozaly, also an undergraduate student, acted as the MC.
The presentation was an excellent overview of Sri Lanka, including its geography, history, festival, sports, cuisine, etc. Many other attractive things cannot be fully described here (see the pictures below). The audience was mesmerized by her presentation, completely losing track of time.
During the Q&A session, there were various questions about her experience in Japan, her impression of Aizu university, and even about dangerous creatures in Sri Lanka. It was an excellent opportunity to become familiar with the country.
The next International Talk will take place in January via Zoom. We will keep you updated about the event!
