Joint Research on Smart City Operating Systems with Accenture Japan Ltd

The University of Aizu and Accenture Japan Ltd will conduct joint research on the Smart City operating systems, the digital platform for smart cities.
This joint project will promote research on the utilization of Smart City operating systems by developing a standard Application Programming Interface (API) marketplace and promote the dissemination of information on the Smart City promotion environment with Aizuwakamatsu City as a model case.
The API marketplace will be developed through this joint research based on the smart city reference architecture provided by the government. This will be the first of its kind in the Japan.
