Seigo Kitamura, the Minister of State for the Promotion of Overcoming Population Decline and Vitalizing Local Economy in Japan and Minister of State for Regulatory Reform, visited the UoA on October 2, 2019. He observed the status of revitalization initiatives such as university-academia collaboration and robotic technology development and visited the Laboratory for Leading-edge ICT in Aizu (LICTiA).
