University of Aizu Faculty Member Appointed as Advisor to the Prefectural Police on Cyber Crime

On Tuesday, April 9, 2019, Akihito Nakamura, Senior Associate Professor(※) of Information Security at the University of Aizu, was appointed as the "Fukushima Prefectural Police Cyber Crime Countermeasure Advisor", continuing from the previous year.
Senior Associate Professor Akihito Nakamura said, "We want to improve the knowledge and judgment of companies and students in order to prevent cybercrime. I would also like to have the students improve the software development they were involved in as cyber crime prevention volunteers. I would also like to encourage students to further improve the software development they were involved in as cyber crime prevention volunteers".
