Researchers from Our University Receive the Best Paper Award from Computers.

　An MDPI JournalA paper co-authored by Mr. Abou Saleh Mousa Mia (Doctoral Program Student), Professor Jungpil Shin (*1), Associate Professor Yuichi Okuyama (*2), and Associate Professor Yoichi Tomioka (*3), titled "Multistage Spatial Attention-Based Neural Network for Hand Gesture Recognition" (*4), has received the Best Paper Award (*5) from the journal Computers, published by MDPI (*6), a leading open-access academic publisher.

　The Computers Best Paper Award is presented annually to recognize high-quality papers with significant scientific contributions and broad impact. The selection committee chooses two outstanding papers from those published two years prior, and the results are announced online.
