The University of Aizu team placed 27th at the ICPC World Championships!

The ICPC International Inter-University Programming Contest World Championship (Moscow) was held on October 5, and the University of Aizu team(※1) answered 7 out of 15 questions correctly, placing 27th.
This event was originally scheduled to be held in June 2020 (※2), but due to the global spread of the new coronavirus infection, the event was postponed, and now, after more than a year, it is being held locally.
The players who were students at the University of Aizu at the time had already graduated and gone their separate ways, but they showed the teamwork they had as students and fought hard as the University of Aizu team.
Senior Associate Professor Watanobe(※3) of our university acted as an online coach.
