Off-campus Lecture at Sukagawa Toyo High School

An off-campus lecture was given by Associate Professor Junya Terazono of UoA at Sukagawa Toyo High School on June 5, 2014.

The lecture entitled "Do you believe in Apollo? -Introduction to a conspiracy theory in order not to be deceived" was attended by all 700 students of Sukagawa Toyo High School and their parents and teachers.

Here are some impression from students who attended the lecture:

"Dr. Terazono told us that the way to deal with conspiracy theories was 'listen to the opinions of those around you.' From now on I will listen carefully to everything I hear so that I can distinguish true and false information."

"I learned to always question the source of ambiguous information."

"In the future I would like to continue to learn to broaden my horizons."
Attendees seemed to fully enjoy the lecture.

An area for books authored by Associate Professor Junya Terazono was set up in the Sukagawa Toyo High School library in conjunction with the lecture.

UoA will continue to offer off-campus lectures and public lectures.
