Chaoyang University of Technology (Taiwan) Vice President Visits UoA

On Tuesday, March 10, 2015, Vice President Tao-Ming Cheng, College of Informatics Dean Rung-Ching Chen, and Language Center Lecturer Jin-Yang Hwang from Taiwan's Chaoyang University of Technology (CYUT *1) visited our university. CYUT and UoA concluded a general exchange agreement in 2008. Since then, both universities have been active in student and faculty-level exchange activities, establishing a joint research laboratory.
As our President Oka has been scheduled to give a keynote speech at an international conference hosted by CYUT *2 in April, they came here to give President Oka a letter of invitation to the conference and to exchange opinions on future collaboration of both universities, with attendance by our Regent Iwase, Director of the Center for Strategy of International Programs, and other UoA personnel.
