Mr. Abhijeet Won the 3rd Place in International Speech Contest

Mr. Abhijeet Ravankar from India and Mr. Yanlong Liu from China, both in the first year of the Master's Program studying under the "Advanced Education Program for Career Development of Foreign Students from Asia" (sponsored by METI and MEXT) participated in an international speech contest held in Fukushima City on Saturday, November 28.
This speech contest was held for both of international and Japanese students studying at universities in Fukushima Prefecture to increase mutual understanding of different cultures and to promote international friendship. 16 students from 7 foreign countries and 2 Japanese students made speeches on their own experiences of different cultures and international exchanges. Mr. Abhijeet gave a presentation titled "真(まこと)の国際交流とは" (What true international exchanges are) that was awarded the 3rd place, and Mr. Liu's speech was titled "今までの私、これからの私" (Me, in the past and future).
