On Thursday, October 31, 2024, the IEEE Technical Committee on Scalable Computing (TCSC) (※1) awarded the 2024 Award for Excellence (Early Career Researcher) (※2) to Associate Professor SAXENA Deepika(※3) from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering / Division of Information Systems at University of Aizu.

 This award recognizes up to five individuals who have made outstanding, influential, and sustainable contributions to the field of Scalable Computing. Typically, nominees must be researchers who are within five years of obtaining their Ph.D. as of January 1 of the award year.
