University of Aizu Researcher Wins Special Jury Award at the Golden Thread Award 2023

　At the "Golden Thread Awards 2023" held on February 25, 2024, Senior Associate Professor OGAWA Olivia Chisato (Cultural Research Center) of the University (*1) received Special Jury Award (*2) in the planning category for her promotional plan for the self-exploration tool "Sugoroku(the game of life) golden thread".

help Aizu University students to settle in the university and to help immigrants to settle in Aizu, the plan is to use open lectures at the university to conduct "Golden Threads" for students and newly immigrated workers.
Evaluation
This project was highly evaluated not only for the retention of students, but also for its plan to present role models to students through exchanges between students and working adults, with an eye to the retention of immigrants in response to the social issue of the region's declining population.
