Notice of Confirmed Case of COVID-19

This is a continuation of the announcement made on Wednesday, September 1.

We are pleased to announce that the PCR test results of three close contacts have been obtained, and two of them were confirmed to be positive.

1 Infected individual:
（1）Male student in his 20s

Actions before infection was confirmed:
September 2:The PCR test returned a positive result.

Current Status:
No one from the University of Aizu was in close contact with the virus.

（2）Male student in his 20s

Actions before infection was confirmed:
September 1:The PCR test returned a positive result.

Current Status:
No one from the University of Aizu was in close contact with the virus.

2 Status of University Facilities:
Access to all facilities remains available as usual.
