This is to notify you that a university employee was confirmed to be infected with the COVID-19 virus.

Infected individual:
Male employee in his 30s residing in Aizuwakamatsu City

Actions before infection was confirmed:
August 13: The individual visited a medical institution tested pseudo positive for coronavirus antigen.

Response by the university:
We have taken steps including disinfecting the facility accessed.
