University of Aizu Faculty Members Teach Two Seminars for English Teachers in Fukushima Prefecture

The Fukushima Prefectural Education Center held two seminars for English teachers on Friday, August 4, and Monday, October 16, 2023. The "Skill Up Training" seminars aimed to enhance the four skills of English and were given by Associate Professors CARR Nicholas and BENSON Stuart from the Center for Language Research. Two such seminars were also held in 2022.
Twelve Junior and Senior High School teachers from across the prefecture attended each seminar, which focused on improving the teachers' receptive and productive English skills. The knowledge gained from the seminars further enhanced English language education in the prefecture.
