Curriculum

Students will complete the Fundamental Knowledge Learning, Fundamental PBL, and Advanced incremental Learnings within a year.

The certificate of enPiT will be awarded when students complete all the requirements of Fundamental Knowledge Learning, Fundamental PBL, and Advanced Learning.

The following subjects will be taken when you are 2nd through 4th years.

Fundamental Knowledge Learning
Required 2 classes

  • Introductin to Software Enginnring [2Q] 3 credits
    Students from participating schools are required to take alternative courses at their own schools (Specialized fundermental subject)
  • Understanding the International Experience for Engineering Studnets(SCCP) [1st Semester] 1 credit
    Students at participating schools can take courses remotely or take alternative courses at their own schools.
  • Understanding the Reginal Innovation for Engineering Studnets(SCCP) [2nd Semester] 1 credit
    Students at participating schools can take courses remotely or take alternative courses at their own schools.
  • Basic Knowledge Course on Starting Up Ventures I/II  [1Q/3Q] 2 credits each
    Students at participating schools can take courses remotely or take alternative courses at their own schools.
  • Integrated Exercise for Software I/II  [1st/2nd Semester] 3 credits each
    Students at participating schools can take courses remotely or take alternative courses at their own schools.

Fundamental PBL
Required 2 class

  • Creativity Studio [Summer Intensive] 2 credits
    Learn the basics of creativity needed for various projects
    A week-long training camp during the summer vacation in Aizu

  • Introductory PBL Factories for Experiencing Starting Up Ventures 6 [Summer Intensive] 1 credit
    Learn the fundamental process of project execution and project management
    Develop the software based on the theme of teaching materials
    A week-long training camp during the summer vacation in Aizu + Remote Work

Advanced Learning
one class

  • Advanced PBL Factories for Experiencing Starting Up Ventures 6 [2nd Semester] 1 credit
    Develop Software that requires creative ingenuity
    Students at participating schools can take courses remotely or take alternative courses at their own schools.
  • Software Studio [1st Semester] 3 credits
    Develop Software that deals with real-world customers
    Practice software engineering and project management
    Students at participating schools can take courses remotely

  • Students from participating universities will enroll at the University of Aizu as "Special Auditing Student"
  • It is necessary to complete the necessary procedures at the home university to recognize the credits earned.
  • The University of Aizu and the participating universities will discuss in advance what subjects can be substituted for the basic fundermental and advanced learning subjects.
